چکیده
Based on high-throughput first-principles calculations, we evaluated the anomalous Hall and Nernst conductivities of 266 transition-metal-based ferromagnetic compounds. Detailed analysis based symmetries Berry curvatures reveals that origin singular-like behaviour Hall/Nernst can be mostly attributed to appearance Weyl nodes or nodal lines located in proximity Fermi energy, which further tailored by external stimuli such as biaxial strains magnetic fields. Moreover, calculations are enabled automated construction Wannier functions with a success rate 92%, paves way perform accurate evaluation physical properties transport using interpolation

Mott relation for anomalous Hall and Nernst effects in Ga1-xMnxAs ferromagnetic semiconductors.
The Mott relation between the electrical and thermoelectric transport coefficients normally holds for phenomena involving scattering. However, the anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in ferromagnets may arise from intrinsic spin-orbit interaction. In this work, we have simultaneously measured AHE and the anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) in Ga1-xMnxAs ferromagnetic semiconductor films, and observed an exce...
متن کاملScattering-independent anomalous Nernst effect in ferromagnets
Using the full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave method within the density functional theory, we compute all contributions to the scattering-independent part of the thermoelectric conductivity tensor α̂, namely, the intrinsic contribution α̂ic and the side-jump contribution α̂sj. For the ferromagnetic materials bcc Fe, hcp Co, fcc Ni, and L10 ordered alloys FePd and FePt, our investigation...
متن کاملTunable Magnon Weyl Points in Ferromagnetic Pyrochlores.
The dispersion relations of magnons in ferromagnetic pyrochlores with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction are shown to possess Weyl points, i. e., pairs of topologically nontrivial crossings of two magnon branches with opposite topological charge. As a consequence of their topological nature, their projections onto a surface are connected by magnon arcs, thereby resembling closely Fermi arcs of e...
متن کاملFrustration in ferromagnetic materials
We examine the theory of micromagnetics developed by W. F. Brown. We show that in the case often considered, with exchange energy omitted, the minimum of the free energy is not attained for uniaxial materials but is attained for cubic materials. A study of the minimizing sequences reveals that these accurately model many features of observed domain structure. Finally, we reexamine the so-called...
